Get Some Free Weed On California Primary Day

Voters Will Get Some Free Cannabis

California's state primary elections, will take place next Tuesday and some of the marijuana dispensaries and clubs around the San Jose area, will be giving out some free weed, to all those voters who assist on that day. So if you like smoking marijuana or need cannabis as a medicine, keep on reading and find out more about why some dispensaries are going to be giving away some free herb on this day and how you could get some.
Dave Hodges, who is a member of the Silicon Valley Cannabis Coalition and the owner of a cannabis club said, "Primary elections tend to have much lower turnout, because people don't even know there is a vote that day.  We want to help people know when to vote and who to vote for."

The objective of all this is, to encourage people to vote for the candidates who are in favor of the legalization of marijuana or at least, to improve the current prohibitionist laws.  People who are members of some of the cannabis collectives around the San Jose, California area and who vote on Tuesday, June 3rd, will only need to show their "I Voted" sticker or their ballot stub, to get some free marijuana.

According to some recent studies, the city of San Jose, has around 80 marijuana clubs, which are operating at the moment.  It is believed that at least 40 of these clubs, will be participating in the "Weed for Votes" campaign and that it will draw the attention of a lot of people.  Hopefully, this does help to get cannabis friendly politicians to represent us and legalize marijuana once and for all.

Elections In Ireland May Help Cannabis Legalization

Historic Cannabis Laws Changes Are Coming Our Way

Irish voters, are heading to the polls and because there is a pro cannabis candidate for the European Parliament, we might just see some historic changes on cannabis laws very soon.

Luke Flanagan, has been promoting the legalization of cannabis for quite some time now and at Zip 420 we really hope he wins.  The predictions are in his favor and this is just the kind of people that we need in order to get marijuana legalized.

While many Irish people still oppose the legalization of this herb, it is now obvious that it is the only way to go.  Hopefully more people start realizing this soon and we can change our world,  for the better good.

Don't Believe Everything People Have Said About Marijuana

Proof That Marijuana Is Not A Gateway Drug!

For years, people have been saying that marijuana is a gateway drug and they have been scaring our youth, saying that if they try marijuana once, they will doom their life forever and get involved with some hard drugs.  This is now proving to be a complete lie, as there are millions of people who smoke cannabis on a daily basis and continue to live a normal life.

Now, the Emory University, has released a study, proving that marijuana is not a gateway drug and that it really is not dangerous at all.  According to the study, there has been an increase in the number of people over 21, who smoke cannabis, but there is no evidence that they are trying any harder drugs.

The study also suggests that even though marijuana has already been legalized in several states of the US and other parts of the world, the number of teenagers who are smoking cannabis, has not increased and this also proves that legalizing marijuana, will not cause people under 21 to become addicts, as the herb is better controlled and not sold to minors.

The results, also show that marijuana is not as dangerous as it has said to be and this is why we are very happy that Emory University, decided to put its researchers to work on this.  Now, we can have some valid documents, which prove that what we have been told about marijuana being a gateway drug, are lies and it is time to change our minds about this herb.

Please remember to share and like this article, to help promote the legalization of this herb and don't forget to leave us your email, in the box to the right, so we can send you our free newsletter, with more information about cannabis and how the world is finally legalizing this herb.

Mexican Cartels Can't Compete With Legal Cannabis

Cannabis Legalization Is Working

Among one of the many benefits for legalizing marijuana, there is one that concerns millions of people and that it is finally beginning to show some results.  After cannabis has been legal for a few months in several states of the US, Mexican cartels, are actually suffering and are choosing to not grow marijuana anymore.

Yes you read right, some drug cartels and pot farmers in Mexico, are no longer picking this plant as their main crop, as they are no longer making the huge profits that they used to and it may not be worth the risk anymore.  According to The Washington Post, wholesale drug prices have dropped in the last five years, from around $100 per kilogram, to only $25.  This is really a lot of money and it will certainly affect drug cartels worldwide.

Some longtime cannabis farmers in Mexico, have stated that they wish marijuana legalization would end in the US, as it is certainly changing they way they used to live, but this is great news for the rest of the world, as we are all trying to get rid of these violent criminal organizations, which have only brought more problems to society.

When talking about legalizing marijuana, the effect on drug cartels, is one of the main topics and now that cannabis has been legal for a few months in the US and other parts of the world, we are finally seeing its toll on the criminal organizations.

Just like Al Capone and all of the gangsters during the alcohol prohibition era fell, we are going to get to see mayor drug cartels in Mexico and the world, fall as well.  It is only a matter of time, until marijuana is fully legalized across the globe and this beautiful plant, will no longer generate enormous amounts of profits for these criminals, who do nothing more than harm our future generations.

Legalizing marijuana is proving to be a great solution to fight cartels and we are barely getting started.  Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about how marijuana legalization is affecting Mexican drug cartels and why we need to legalize this herb today.  Don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email to the right, so we can send you more interesting information about marijuana around the world.

Uruguay And Its Marijuana Legalization

Legalizing Marijuana In Uruguay

You should already know that marijuana is being legalized in Uruguay, but if you didn't,  you can always use our search feature to the right and find some of the past articles that we have written about this.

Thankfully,  the legalization of cannabis in Uruguay is still taking place and in this blog post,  we are going to tell you more about it.

Facts About The Legalization Of Cannabis In Uruguay

Now that marijuana is going to be legal in Uruguay,  people will have the right to purchase enough cannabis to roll up to 20 joints per week and it will also be available for a price, lower than what you can currently find it in the streets.

The government of Uruguay, stated this just yesterday and it is proof that they are working towards a new legal cannabis market in their country.

It was this last December that the Congress of Uruguay approved a law, which allows people to grow and sell marijuana. It was President Jose Mujica who turned Uruguay into the first country to legalize cannabis like this.

According to the recent statements, ten grams of marijuana will cost around $0.85 to $1 Dollar.  This price is meant to eliminate the black market and they also said that cannabis will have a high quality.

This is great news for the entire cannabis community and at Zip 420,  we hope that other countries,  follow on the footsteps of the government of Uruguay.

Another Reason For Legalizing Cannabis

Violence Is An Obvious Reason For Legalizing Cannabis

This last couple of weeks, have been a complete war zone in the Mexican northern State of Tamaulipas.  Dozens have been killed, gunfights have started in front of schools, hospitals and innocent people's homes.  People, who have nothing to do with cannabis, drugs or violence, have been living with fear for years, are no longer happy to go out of their homes and some have even been shot or killed.    You can find some information and videos about these violent events in YouTube and the web, but most of it, appears to be left out by the local media, as most are still scared of publishing things related to drug cartels.

As we all know now, there have been plenty of negative impacts, thanks to the ongoing war on drugs and this is why we believe that cannabis needs to be legalized today.  There has been racial and massive incarceration, which has only lead to millions spent from taxpayers and has solved nothing.

Cannabis demand, has now increased like never before and there is also a lot of supply everywhere.  Mexican cartels, have outgrown the government and gang violence has increased in many places as well.  People are growing their own herb in many communities and many are doing it, without the consent of the government.

All of this, could be solved, by simply legalizing cannabis and regulating this plant.  Millions would be saved and the police, could focus on crimes that really affect our communities and not arrest people who are using marijuana for medicinal and recreational purposes.

The money that would be saved from legalizing marijuana, could be used on education and improving services for the people in the country.  There would also be a lot more profits, for government offices, as taxes would be placed on cannabis and this would also help many institutions.

We need to stop violence worldwide and if legalizing cannabis can help a bit, then there should be no reason for not making this herb legal.  Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people can read about the drug related violence that is going on out there and why we should all try to legalize marijuana today.
