Colorado Cannabis´ Potency Is Getting Higher

Very Potent Cannabis In Colorado

After two years of legalizing marijuana for recreational purposes in Colorado, reports have found that there is now more potent cannabis there than ever before.

There are now many different strains to choose from and there are plenty of plants being legally grown, under some very intense lights and inside some fantastic grow rooms.

There are now some reports about some marijuana plants reaching 32% THC content, which is extremely high and has not been seen elsewhere yet.  There are also many plants ranging around 28% THC content, which are definitely very high and a lot more than to what some people are accustomed to.

Back in the 90´s, the marijuana that was confiscated by police, was reported to have about 3% THC content, which as you can see is very low compared to Colorado´s cannabis today.

Thanks to new laws and reforms, it is now possible for growers and scientists to develop the best that this plant has to give us and hopefully new findings will start appearing soon.

Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people know about the high THC marijuana that you can find in Colorado.

This Is What Happens To Your Brain When You Consume Coffee, Wine or Cannabis

Effects Of Coffee, Wine & Marijuana

These three substances are present in the lives of many people around the world and they do affect both work and leisure time.  But how do these substances really affect our bodies?  Well, a recent study by Wine Folly, identifies how our bodies react when we consume one or some of these substances.

According to Wine Folly:

  • A coffee drinker explains things profoundly.
  • A wine drinker worries about the importance of health and living a long life.
  • A cannabis user enjoys feeling happy on a regular basis.

Wine Folly's study also states that:

  • Coffee allows us to have things more or less under control.  It also creates a vital impulse.
  • Wine enhances our creativity, which seems to flow from nowhere.
  • Marijuana makes our vision wider and we tend to see farther or more into things, than we usually do.
General Beliefs

  • Coffee is a substance that helps to prevent sleep or helps us to stay awake.  Its effect can last around six hours.
  • Wine stimulates a part of our brain, which Wine Folly calls "the primitive brain" and it affects our corporal conducts, our sense of fear and our desire for sex.  Its effect can last up to an hour per cup or glass.
  • Cannabis affects all of the neurotransmitters in our brains.  This creates a positive and relaxing feeling.  Consuming too much marijuana may affect our nerves and could cause a little paranoia.  Cannabis can last up to 36 hours in our bodies, after we have smoked it.

Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people an know more about what these substances can do to our bodies.  You should also check out Zip420 Club, an online cannabis club.

89% Of US Voters Wants Medical Cannabis Legalized

More US Voters Are In Favor Of Legal Medical Marijuana

A recent poll that was carried out by the Quinnipiac University, found out that almost every US voter wants medical cannabis legalized.  This poll was just released yesterday and it shows that voters in the United States want to legalize this herb for medical purposes, when it is prescribed by a doctor.

People from the Democratic Party and from the Republican Party agree that this herb needs to be legalized now and that it is helpful as a medicine for many people.  This poll also found that 87% of US voters want doctors to prescribe medical marijuana pills to veterans who are having problems with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

According to the poll, 54% of voters in the US, are in favor of fully legalizing cannabis and this is certainly a very large number.

The Quinnipiac University Poll interviewed 1561 registered voters from different parts of the US and they completed their entire survey between May 24 and May 30 of this year.

This is proof that voters have changed their views on medical marijuana and that we are going to see more states legalizing this herb very soon.

According to some experts,"these results and similar ones before them are exactly why, for the first time ever, every remaining presidential candidate has voiced support for letting states legalize marijuana without federal interference."

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about this poll and its results.

Is Kief Really Stronger Than Cannabis?

What Is Kief?

When you look at marijuana buds very closely, you will see that they have some very tiny crystal type things on them and these are commonly known as trichomes.  According to some experts, these tiny crystals help to protect the cannabis plant from predators and other problems, but once they dry up and become a resin, they are called Kief and according to most, this resin can produce an intense high.

Cannabinoids are mainly produced by Trichomes and this is why the high can vary distinctively, depending on how and when the cannabis buds are harvested.  It can be said that Kief is a concentranted type of marijuana, which does give a stronger high.

If Kief has a light color, then it is purer than if it a little more brownish.  So get out there and find yourself some Kief.  Smoke it and see why it is can give you a powerful high.

Some Tips For Growing Cannabis

Growing Cannabis Tips

Today we want to share some marijuana growing tips with you, because we believe that the "grow your own" scene is happening soon around the world.  As more governments decide to legalize cannabis, it is time to start learning how to grow your own or at least to have an idea how this is done.

Making sure that you grow your marijuana correctly, will guarantee that you get some fresh buds and that you smoke some high quality stuff!

Five Tips For Growing Better Marijuana

  1. Make sure that you have enough space - Marijuana plants can get very large, very quickly and if you do not have enough room for your plants, your buds may suffer for it.  So make sure that you plan ahead and that you have enough space for your cannabis plants.
  2. Find the perfect soil for you - The type of soil that you use, will make a real difference in your cannabis buds, so make sure that you start off your plants with some high quality soil, so that it can have all of the nutrients that it needs.
  3. Do not use boosters and fertilizers - Away from what many newbie growers and unexperienced growers believe, using boosters and fertilizers on your cannabis plants, is not such a good idea.  Make sure that you know what your cannabis plants need first and at Zip 420, we suggest going organic, in order to protect our planet and environment.  This means, using natural soils and fertilizers, like bat guano or worm castings.
  4. Read about harvesting time - Making sure that you wait for the right time to pick those cannabis buds, is the perfect way to ensure a better harvest.  Wait at least for 50% of the pistils to start turning brown and make sure that you leave enough free time to harvest your plants.
  5. Cure your buds - There are many theories on how to cure marijuana buds once they have been harvested and this will all depend on what you have and what you can do.  Make sure that you dry them correctly and do not use the microwave or leave them out directly in the sun, as this will harm your cannabis buds.
Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about marijuana growing and to promote the legalization of cannabis worldwide.

Did Shakespeare Smoke Cannabis?

Marijuana Has Been Found In Some Pipes In Shakespeare's Garden

Some recent testing and forensic studies, revealed that Shakespeare might have smoked cannabis and not just tobacco, as it was once believed.  Some scientists from South Africa, have been studying some 400 year old pipes, which were found in Shakespeare's old garden and they have found some cannabis residues in them.

Gas chromatography, is the technique that was used by these scientists, to study the 24 pieces of pipes that were found in Shakespeare's garden.  Of these 24 pieces, eight of them had cannabis residues and this has led many of us to think that William Shakespeare enjoyed lighting one up, before writing his plays.

Some of Shakespeare's sonnets, clearly talk about the effects of marijuana, which proves that he knew about this herb.  One example is Sonnet 76, which says "invention in a noted weed" and some have come to believe that this means that Shakespeare consumed marijuana.

If Shakespeare did use cannabis during his lifetime, we can now promote the innocence of this herb even more and we need to get it regulated worldwide.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about the possibility of Shakespeare being a cannabis user and to help promote the legalization of marijuana around the world.

Marijuana Has Been Found In Space

Cannabis Found On A Meteorite

Experts from the University of Hawaii, analyzed a meteorite that was found in the desert of Nevada, back in 2010 and they have found THC in it.  The scientists and researchers, were analyzing some parts of the fallen meteorite and they were amazed to find Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, which is widely known to be found in the marijuana plant.

James Hun, who is the astrophysicist in charge of this study, said "the discovery of THC on meteorite fragments, will have huge impact on the science of astrobiology.  If chemical substances, that change brain functions and result in alteration in perception, mood, or consciousness in humans, find their origin in outer space, what role then has cometary impacts played on the human species? Or on life on the planet as whole? This discovery ultimately leaves us with more questions than answers. It gives a whole new meaning to the term getting high".

Hun's last sentence, was told to the press with a bit of humor and we certainly had a short laugh.

Back in 2009. some researchers from the University of Mexico, were also analyzing some meteorite fragments and they also found some THC.  The discovery was cataloged as "controversial" and there wasn't much fuzz made about it.

At the moment, there is still no answer or proof as to why there was THC on these pieces of meteorite, but scientists and researchers are certainly already working on the case.  It will be very interesting to see what they come up with and what this thing really means.

Are there marijuana plants growing in other parts of the Universe? Is marijuana or THC an essential thing for living somewhere in space?  Is there plant life outside our planet?  Or did simply someone who smoked some cannabis touch the fragments of meteorite and left some residues behind.  Lot's of questions come to mind and hopefully someone finds the right answer soon.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about marijuana being found on a meteorite.  You can also sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting news about cannabis,

Marijuana Use During Pregnancy

Learn More About Marijuana Use During Pregnancy

At Zip 420, we not only fight for cannabis legalization worldwide, but we also want to teach everyone a bit more about this herb, its benefits and what it can do for all of us.  Today, we want to tell you more about marijuana use during pregnancy and we want to clear the smoke about this.

There are studies related to cannabis use during pregnancy, since the 1960's and this means that there is now plenty of useful and reliable information about this.  Some people state, that these studies cannot be trusted completely, as some women may of have lied or not told the entire truth, about how much marijuana they consumed or if they tried other drugs during their pregnancy, but most experts and professionals, now believe that there is not an association with marijuana use and birth defects.

In one of the largest studies, at least 12800 women were interviewed and analyzed after pregnancy and the statistics proved that there is no relation between using marijuana during pregnancy and birth defects.  This is certainly great news and it also proves that cannabis is not as dangerous as alcohol, tobacco or other substances out there.

It is important to note, that using cannabis during pregnancy is certainly not recommended, as it does come with some risks, such as lower birth weight and growth restriction, especially in those women who keep smoking marijuana in the final stages of pregnancy or over do it.

There are still studies going on about this and scientists are trying to find out if exposing embryos or unborn children to cannabis, is dangerous in the long term or not.  Some studies claim that children who were exposed to marijuana before being born, have some problems learning, concentrating and are a bit more irritable, but there is still not much proof about this and there is proof that this happens to children, even if they were not exposed to cannabis before they were born.

Overall, it can be said that marijuana use during pregnancy is not as dangerous as other drugs, but that it does have some risks, so it is better if future mothers try to not consume cannabis while they are pregnant or at least not use it as much or as frequently.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about marijuana use during pregnancy and to promote the regulation of marijuana worldwide.  Don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, so we can send you more information about marijuana use and other cannabis related facts, directly to your inbox.

More Mexicans Are Consuming Marijuana These Days

The Consumption Of Marijuana Is Increasing In Mexico

According to some recent studies, by juvenile centres in Mexico, the number of people who consume marijuana, is increasing all over Mexico and in at least 18 States, people prefer cannabis over tobacco.

Carmen Fernandez Caceres, who is in charge of these centres, stated that she has kept a personal and professional record, of the number of juveniles who consume cannabis and how this number has increased since 2008.  The number of people who consume marijuana in Mexico, is increasing in States located in the North and the South of the country as well, so it has nothing to do with the place that they live in.

In some Mexican States like Yucatan, which is in the South, the number of young people who consume this herb, increased in more than 25% since 2008.  The percentage of people who smoke tobacco, also decreased in this State during  these years and this proves how some people are substituting smoking one plant for another.

In the State of Veracruz, which sits along the Gulf of Mexico, the percentage of young people who consume marijuana,  also increased by 29% during 2007 to 2014 and it is very likely that this number will keep growing over the years.

The State of Morelos, had the largest growth in marijuana consumption, as the percentage reached 31%.  These are all outstanding facts and it proves how more people now prefer to consume cannabis, rather than tobacco, which can surely be more harmful for our health.

Some politicians in Mexico, are already looking to legalize and regulate marijuana for medicinal and recreational uses, so hopefully these laws will be changed soon and Mexico can join the countries that are taking the next step towards allowing people to consume cannabis.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about how more Mexicans are consuming marijuana these days.  You should also sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right, so we can send you some interesting stories and information about marijuana directly to your mail.

All You Need To Know About Weed Plant Stages

Everything About Weed Plant Stages!!

It does not matter where marijuana is grown, it will still need to go through several stages, in order to produce some high quality buds.  As you probably already know, marijuana can be grown outdoors or indoors, which is why, some people may have some problems identifying some of the different weed plant stages.

In this blog post, we will tell you a little more about these marijuana plant stages and how you can identify them.  If you are lucky enough to live in a place were people are allowed to grow their own cannabis, this information will surely help you to become a more experienced grower.

The Different Weed Plant Stages

  1. Germination Stage - This is the beginning of it all and it is when you create the perfection environment, for a cannabis seed to grow.  There are different ways of germinating marijuana seeds, but one that has worked perfectly for many is, to place the seeds in a wet napkin and then place that napkin in a plastic bag or sealed container for a couple of days.  The seeds will start germinating after some time and you will only need to switch them to a pot with soil or other growing medium that you might be using.
  2. Vegetative Stage - After placing your germinated marijuana seeds in a pot, you will soon start seeing the small plant popping out and two small leaves will start to form.  From here on, your plant will be in the vegetative stage and it can remain there for as long as the climate allows it or as long as you want it too.  During this stage of the weed plant stages, your cannabis plant will require light and water, in order to grow and mature.  You can manipulate the time your plant spends in vegetative stage, in an indoor grow and this can change its size, its yield and much more.  When growing outside, you will have to stick to the seasons of the year, in order for your plant to get the most sun light during the vegetative stage and so it can grow as it is supposed to.  When growing indoors, there are plenty of theories and strategies for manipulating your plant and making the most of out it, but this will require another article.
  3. Flowering Stage - After several weeks of being in a vegetative stage, your plant will go into the flowering stage, which is almost the last one and one of the most interesting for most cannabis lovers.  During this stage of the weed plant stages, the marijuana plant will begin to flower and you will see some distinct changes.  This is when you can see if your plant is a male or a female and decide whether you want to keep all of them and have seeds or cut off the males and have only perfect marijuana buds.  If growing indoors, your plants will need to go in to a 12-12 hour light period and you will know when they are ready to harvest, when its thricomes say so.  These are the tiny white dots that you will see on your plant and if you use a magnifying glass, you will know exactly when to harvest your marijuana plants.
  4. Harvesting & Curing Stage - After waiting for those thricomes to turn as amber as possible, you will have about five to seven days to harvest your cannabis buds, if you want full potency and the best stony effect.  Remember that a magnifying glass is really helpful for identifying the color in the thricomes and when at least 1/2 of them turn an amber color.  You should also have stopped using nutrients, if using any at all and have been watering with only water for a few days now.  This will give your cannabis bud a better taste in the end.  After harvesting, you should try to trim those marijuana plants right away, as this will allow the air to get into those buds and really cure properly.  You should try to trim all of the leaves and leaves tips that are close to your buds and put all of them in a dark room to dry.  They can be hung from a string and then placed in a glass jar, so they can cure for a few days more.  Remember that patience is the best way to get high quality buds!!!
We hope that this list of the weed plant stages, has helped you to learn a little more about them and how you can start growing your own marijuana plants too.  Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people can read about these marijuana plant stages and promote the legalization of cannabis worldwide.  Don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting news and information about marijuana.

A New Study Proves That Couples Who Consume Marijuana Are Happier

Couples Who Consume Cannabis Have Less Domestic Violence Reports

The University of Buffalo, just led a new research, which proves that couples who consume cannabis, have less conflicts and involved in fewer domestic violence cases, than those couples that do not consume marijuana.  The conclusion of this study is, "couples in which both spouses used marijuana frequently, reported the least frequent IPV (intimate partner violence) perpetration," which basically means that couples that consume cannabis on a regular basis, tend to have less fights and live a happier life together.

The study began back in 1996 and it involved over 600 couples, with different types of lives and from different regions of the country.  All couples had to answer questions about their drug and alcohol consumption, as well as some of the fights and problems that they had between them.

According to the study, one cause for this might be that chronic marijuana users, are less likely to be involved in aggressive behavior, thus having less problems and fights with their spouse.  While researchers agree that more studies need to be done on marijuana, this proves many of what our parents and other people told us in the past.  It is not true that consuming marijuana will make you crazy and that you will go out to commit a crime.  People who do that, already have that evil inside them, but it is certainly not caused by marijuana and this study will help to prove this.

So if you are in a relationship and one of you has had doubts about consuming marijuana together and having a nice time, this study should also help you decide and understand that cannabis is not a drug, but a herb, which can work as a medicine for millions and a recreational past time for others.

Please remember to share and like this article, so that all couple can read about how marijuana can help them to lead a happier life together.  You should also subscribe, to our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting stuff about marijuana, directly to your inbox.

Teenager Cannabis Use In Colorado Has Decreased

Less Teenagers Are Consuming Marijuana In Colorado

Just as Zip 420 predicted and just as it happened in countries like Portugal, the use of marijuana among teenagers in Colorado is now decreasing, after retail legalization started in 2012.  It was yesterday that Colorado's state officials, released some new statistics about this and the results are really magnificent.

The Healthy Kids Colorado Survey, which was released by the Department of Public Health and Environment,  states that the thirty-day marijuana use, dropped from 22% back in 2011 to 20% in 2013.  The study also claims that lifetime use has decreased from 39% to 37%, during the same period of time.

Mason Tvert, who is one of the people who proposed Amendment 64, which legalized recreational cannabis in this State and who is also a spokesman for the Marijuana Policy Project, stated "regulating marijuana is working in Colorado.  The drop in teen use reflects the fact that state and local authorities, have far more control over marijuana than ever before.  Hopefully, elected officials and voters in other States, are paying attention."

Since 2009, when marijuana stores first started operating in Colorado, cannabis use among teenagers, has decreased at least 5 points, which is a very positive number and we are certain that it will continue growing, as everything becomes more organized and functions to perfection.

It is always nice to read about these kind of survey results and this is why Zip 420 wants to share them with you.  It is time to acknowledge the benefits of decriminalizing cannabis and allowing people to consume this herb.

Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people can read about this survey results from Colorado.

The US Should Consider Legalizing Cannabis A National Security Priority

Legalizing Cannabis Will Benefit Millions Of People

According to some recently released press releases, legalizing marijuana, should be one of the main concerns for American national security, as making this herb legal, could in fact reduce border instability and fight terrorism as well.

Most of you should know, about the ongoing wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and how many people have died there.  According to CBS News, Afghanistan, is the country that sells the most cannabis in the world and it is even said that farmers get more from this herb, than they do from the poppy flower.

You should also know that the US is one of the largest cannabis consumers in the world, if not the largest and if marijuana was legalized, it could open a new business opportunity for Americans and farmers in Afghanistan, putting an end to a useless war and actually helping people who need marijuana as a medicine.

Some studies, have also proved that some cannabis sales in Iraq and Afghanistan, have helped to fund The Taliban, which means that they are aiding terrorists and this could be stopped, if marijuana became legal around the world.

The US border with Mexico, also has plenty of problems and if marijuana would become legal, many of these problems would also go away.  Millions of lives, would be saved by legalizing this herb and millions of dollars, would also be spared.

Plenty of Americans already use cannabis on a daily basis and they lead responsible lives.  It is obvious that marijuana does not affect people's lives as much as other drugs, like alcohol and tobacco, which is why it is time to legalize this herb.

Cannabis profits, are mostly ending on the wrong hands (drug cartels and terrorists), who only affect our communities and increase crime rates in our cities.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about the benefits of legalizing marijuana.  You can also subscribe to our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more information directly to your inbox.

10 Countries That Might Fully Legalize Marijuana Next

More Countries Are Thinking About Marijuana Legalization

You probably already know that there are several countries thinking about fully legalizing marijuana, but you might not know about all the 10 countries that we are going to mention here.  If all of the countries that we are going to mention here, do decide to legalize marijuana, we will certainly have a better world and soon the rest of the countries will follow too.

So without any further delay, here are the 10 countries that might legalize cannabis next

  1. Jamaica - While many think that marijuana is legal on this island, the truth is that it isn't, but its politicians are already considering it and most of its population is in favor of legalizing the herb that Bob Marley loved so much.
  2. Spain - Although cannabis is still not legal here either, Spain is a little more advance, as they already have an underground culture, where people are allowed to grow, share and consume this herb.  The city of Barcelona, now has many cannabis clubs, which are becoming more popular every single day.
  3. Czech Republic - It was back in 2013, when this country decided to decriminalize marijuana for medicinal purposes, yet, the Czech Republic is very accepting of this herb and before legalizing it for medical reasons, they had already allowed people to grow up to five cannabis plant for personal use.  Today, many people smoke marijuana in the Czech Republic and most do not have any problems with it.  Even tourists are choosing this country as a favorite destination, which means cannabis could become fully legal here very soon.
  4. Colombia - This South American country, has suffered from the drug war, since it began more than 40 years ago.  Today, President Juan Manuel Santos, has declared the war on drugs to be a complete failure and is seriously considering legalizing marijuana.
  5. Costa Rica - At the moment, this country does not arrest people for smoking marijuana, but treat them as people who need medical help.  Costa Rica, has also decriminalized the possession and consumption of cannabis, yet people are not allowed to grow it.  Some changes to Costa Rica's cannabis laws, are sure to rise soon.
  6. Portugal - This country has been treating drug addiction to all drugs, as a health problem since 2001 and they have had tremendous success.  Today, they are considering fully legalizing marijuana, because its population is now aware of the benefits, the risks and almost everything that is involved with this herb.
  7. Peru - Citizens of this country, are already allowed to consume and posses up to eight grams of marijuana, yet the production and sale of cannabis, is still not legal.  Because their neighbor Uruguay, recently legalized marijuana, Peru might soon make changes to its laws as well.
  8. Switzerland - People in this country, have been able to grow up to four plants of marijuana, consume and posses small amounts of this herb,  without any legal problems.  Most Swiss are neutral about this and although there are no plans to legalize marijuana here soon, it is as if it is already legal for citizens.
  9. Mexico - Just like Colombia, Mexico has suffered dramatically from the so called "Drug on Wars" and legalization is right around the corner.  More than 60000 Mexicans have been killed since 2006 and thousands more are missing.  Some politicians, have already proposed two bills, which would make marijuana legal in Mexico, either for recreational or medicinal purposes and if this happens, more countries in South America, will start doing the same too.
  10. Canada - While this country has accepted medicinal marijuana for a long time and is now involved 100% in the medical cannabis industry, marijuana is not legal for recreational purposes, but this might also change very soon.

Hopefully, all of these countries decide to fully legalize marijuana soon and others start following too!!!

A Marijuana Honey Tincture

Making Your Own Marijuana Medicine

As some of you may already know, marijuana can be made  into tinctures, which will make some patients feel much better and give some people an incredible high as well.  Cannabis tinctures, are not that hard to make, (although you will have to wait some  time for them to be ready), and the results can really be amazing.

This is why, we want to share a marijuana honey tincture recipe with you all today and we really hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

How To Make Marijuana Honey Tincture

While some people use a lot of kitchen utensils to make this sort of cannabis tincture, there are also plenty of ways to do this, without as many tools and in a shorter  period of time.  We must remember that medicines from plants, have been extracted for a very long time and our ancestors, certainly did not have some candy thermometers, high class ovens and  more.

You can use some trims, leaves or marijuana buds, to create your honey tincture and you can even use a crock pot, to slowly extract all of the benefits from the cannabis plant.  You will  also learn in the process and you will need to test how much cannabis to add to your honey and how much of it to consume per day.

All of our bodies function differently and this is why, marijuana honey tincture will also work differently on each of us.

Cannabis Honey Tincture Recipe

Ingredients Needed

  • Crock pot

  • Cheese cloth

  • 2 cups pod of marijuana buds or 1 cup of cannabis trims

  • 5 lb. of honey

Process

  1. Put the marijuana buds or trims in the cheese cloth and tied it securely.  Put this bundle in the crock pot and cover it with honey.  Cover the pot with a lid and set to low.
  2. Let the cannabis steep for approximately four hours and don't forget to stir, every hour or so.  The tincture, should not come to a boil and only simmer during this time.  If the tincture does start to boil, turn off the heat and wait for it to cool off a bit, before starting over again.  (This does not have to be perfect.  You only need to worry about not burning your tincture, so you can extract the best cannabis medicine possible.)
  3. After four hours, turn off the heat and let the pot cool.  The color, taste and smell, should already be different and you should be able to notice it. After it has cooled off, you can use it right away as a normal tincture or let it sit over night, to get  an even stronger tincture.
  4. You can now place your cannabis honey tincture in dark jars or a mason jar.  You should remember to label them correctly, so nobody confuses them with something else.
You can use your marijuana honey tincture in tea, cookies, bread and many other beverages and foods. Enjoy and please do not forget to share and like this article, so that more people can learn how to make some cannabis honey tincture in their home.  You can also sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting information about cannabis.

American Teens Are Not Consuming More Marijuana

Studies About The Consumption Of Marijuana

Many people had the idea that if marijuana becomes legal, teenagers will start consuming more of this herb and will become addicted to other drugs as well.  Today, several states in the US, have legalized marijuana for both medicinal and recreational purposes and the results are showing that teens are not getting more involved with this herb, as many once thought they would.

The High School Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System survey, which takes place every two years, recently revealed that the number of American high school students who consume marijuana, has not changed since 2011 to 2013.  The survey also revealed that today's use of marijuana among American teens, has actually dropped 3% from 1999, which was the year when most teens consumed cannabis in the US.

The collected data also showed that at least 23.4% of American high schools, consumed marijuana in the 30 days before the survey, during 2013, which is almost identical to the 23.1% that was collected from data in 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, five more states decided to make cannabis legal, (Massachusetts, Delaware, Illinois, Connecticut and New Hampshire) and this shows how legalization, will not increase the number of teens who consume this herb.

This has also happened in countries like Portugal and Holland, which have accepted marijuana and have not seen an increase of cannabis users, as thought by many out there.  It is time to legalize cannabis, because prohibition is simply stupid and has led us nowhere.

Marijuana is not a drug and it is certainly less dangerous than alcohol and tobacco.  It is time to change our world!

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about the legalization of marijuana, not influencing the number of American teens who use it.  You should also subscribe to our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will make sure to send you more interesting news about marijuana and the legalization of this herb.

Don't Believe Everything People Have Said About Marijuana

Proof That Marijuana Is Not A Gateway Drug!

For years, people have been saying that marijuana is a gateway drug and they have been scaring our youth, saying that if they try marijuana once, they will doom their life forever and get involved with some hard drugs.  This is now proving to be a complete lie, as there are millions of people who smoke cannabis on a daily basis and continue to live a normal life.

Now, the Emory University, has released a study, proving that marijuana is not a gateway drug and that it really is not dangerous at all.  According to the study, there has been an increase in the number of people over 21, who smoke cannabis, but there is no evidence that they are trying any harder drugs.

The study also suggests that even though marijuana has already been legalized in several states of the US and other parts of the world, the number of teenagers who are smoking cannabis, has not increased and this also proves that legalizing marijuana, will not cause people under 21 to become addicts, as the herb is better controlled and not sold to minors.

The results, also show that marijuana is not as dangerous as it has said to be and this is why we are very happy that Emory University, decided to put its researchers to work on this.  Now, we can have some valid documents, which prove that what we have been told about marijuana being a gateway drug, are lies and it is time to change our minds about this herb.

Please remember to share and like this article, to help promote the legalization of this herb and don't forget to leave us your email, in the box to the right, so we can send you our free newsletter, with more information about cannabis and how the world is finally legalizing this herb.

Is It Possible To Make Money With Cannabis?

Being Part Of The Cannabis Industry

Many parts of the world, have already legalized cannabis for either medicinal or recreational purposes and there are also many people, who are asking themselves, if they can make some money with cannabis or not.

While marijuana is already one of the most important crops in the world, there are still many entrepreneurs who are not certain how they can get involved in this industry and in this blog post, we are going to give you a few ideas.

It is true, that you can start your own medical cannabis store or even apply for a license to grow marijuana at a large scale, but this requires a lot of money and this is something that not many of us have.  Some simple ideas and the combination of this wonderful herb, could get you into this industry easily and this is why, you should keep on reading!

Ideas For Making Money With Cannabis

  • Organize some tours to places that are now marijuana friendly and charge for guiding your guests, through some of the places that you already know.  (It is a good idea, to try and talk to some of the new cannabis friendly businesses and see if you can come to an agreement, so that both of you can make some money.)
  • Invest in some of the marijuana businesses that are now in the stock market.  Some of these businesses will probably grow a lot in the next couple of years and if you can pick the ones that are, you could make a ton of money with them.
  • Start your very own marijuana cake factory.  If you are able to live in one of the places that has already legalized marijuana, you can try and get a license, so you can start your very own cannabis bakery or restaurant.  There are so many options in this field and all you need is a little imagination and a little perseverance, as well.
  • If it is possible, organize some parties and charge an entrance fee. You do not have to sell or supply cannabis to your guests, but they can bring their own and have a nice smoke.  You can offer your guests other things, like beverages, amazing music, some cool lights, lots of people and other ideas that you might have.  Applying a theme, to each of your parties, is an excellent idea!
Cannabis legalization, is something that is going to happen sooner or later and those of you, who want to make some money out of this herb, should already be coming up with some ideas and getting started, because there are already many entrepreneurs, who are getting involved in this new "Green" industry.

Is Legal Marijuana In Colorado Going To Affect Mexican Drug Cartels?

Marijuana Is Now Legal In Colorado

We are now in 2014 and there are news all over the web, the radio, TV and newspapers, about marijuana being legally for the first time in Colorado.  There is tons of information about how some of the cannabis stores open their doors for recreational smokers for the first time and what many people were saying during this important day, in "Stoner's History".

What many have not realized, is that these new marijuana laws, will have an effect in many places of the world and that even Mexican drug cartels, might be affected by them.  Mexico's drug cartel problems, are no longer a secret and these new laws in Colorado, might very well, help to reduce the violence and crime rate, in Mexico.

I was reading an article at Chron and it talked about these new cannabis legalization in Colorado, helping to stop the immense profits that Mexican drug cartels make, from selling their weed in the US.  The article has some very interesting data, about marijuana being around 30% of the cartels' entire profits and how legalizing marijuana in Colorado, could help Mexican authorities, to finally put a stop to all the terrible things that are going on in their territory.

Legalizing Marijuana Will Bring Peace Around The World

Chron's article, also talks about how Mexican drug cartels might not be affected as much, by Colorado legalizing cannabis, as this is not a very large State and they do not have too many people, who consume this herb.  The article also talks about how different it would be, if a State like Texas, were to legalize marijuana, as this is a much larger State, with a much larger cannabis smoking population and it also borders Mexico, which means it is an important market for several drug cartels.

I believe, that it is only a matter of time, until marijuana is legalized in more States and that Mexican cartels really do get affected by this.  It is obvious, that some will manage to get in front of some of these new legal marijuana businesses and that they will continue to make some huge profits from this plant, but there will also be many, that will not make the transition and that will be erased from the map.

Legalizing marijuana in Colorado, is one of the smartest things that any government could do and this will be proven in a very short time.  Please help to share the work, by clicking some of the social buttons below and by subscribing to our free mailing list, by leaving us your email in the box to the right.
