The Legalization Of Cannabis Is Happening Right Now
First of all, I want to apologize to all Zip420 readers, as
I was not able to post an article yesterday. I had to go out of town and did
not have an internet connection. Hopefully, this does not happen very often.
Today, I have some amazing news for all of you, as four more States in the US
are thinking about the legalization of cannabis and this is certainly something
that most of us like to read about.
Now, Oregon, Maine, Idaho and Florida are all putting
forwards legislations, which are related to making cannabis available for both
medicinal and recreational purposes. Even if some of these States are closer to
legalizing this herb than others, it is obvious that there are many who believe
that this should be done, even if the federal government does not see it that
way still.
These Fours States Are In Favor Of The Legalization OfCannabis
Oregon
It was just last Monday, when the State of Oregon decided to
pass House Bill 3371, which is all about the legalization of cannabis and it will certainly create a lot of
controversy State and nationwide. This bill was introduced by the Committee on
Revenue and it is named the “Control, Regulation and Taxation of Cannabis Act”. The bill states the following:
“Provides for regulation of production, processing and sale
of marijuana and marijuana-infused products and it directs the Oregon Health
Authority to license marijuana producers, marijuana processors, marijuana
wholesalers and marijuana retailers.”
It is believe that the bill might be accepted by July 2014.
Maine
In this State, Representative Diane Russell just introduced
the “Act to Tax and Regulate Marijuana”, which would allow people over 21 years
of age to possess up to two and a half ounces of cannabis, it would allow
people to grow up to six plants and much more. This is certainly creating a lot
of anxiety and many are hoping that this bill is accepted soon.
Idaho
In this State of the US, the use of cannabis is now very accepted,
as several of the neighboring states have already legalized the herb or are
using it for medicinal purposes. Some politicians have tried to launch resolutions
trying to stop the legalization of cannabis in the State of Idaho, but they
have been turned down and people do not want the federal government taking away
the citizens’ State rights.
Florida
The SB 1250 Bill or “Catty Jordan Medical Cannabis Act” as
it is better know, was recently introduced by Jeff Clemens and it is supposed
to make cannabis available for medicinal use, when approved by a
physician. This bill was introduced in
February and some polls have shown a 70% acceptance, which means that someday
people who live within this state could possess up to eight ounces of cannabis
and could grow up to eight plants as well.
The Legalization of Cannabis Is Happening Worldwide!
As you can see, cannabis will soon be legal in more places
and this means that we are closer to our goal. Please remember to share and
like this article and to join our club to the right, because the legalization of cannabis is now closer than ever.
