The Medical Cannabis Industry Keeps Growing

The Future Looks Promising For The Medical Cannabis Industry

In the past few weeks, we have been telling our readers, about the different bills that are legalizing marijuana for medical purposes in the US and around the world. One of the most important ones is, the New Hampshire medical cannabis bill, as it will allow the people in this region of the US, to consume marijuana for medicinal purposes and they are going to be the 19th State approving these types of laws.

According to Procon.org, there are also five other States in the US, which are awaiting approval of their medical marijuana bills and it is very likely that they will be approved to. All of this proves how this industry is growing at a staggering rate and this is why several companies, entrepreneurs and other people are already preparing to get a piece of it.

Sydney Jim, who is the CEO of Neutra Corp (a company specializing in cannabis related products), also agrees on the fact that more States will soon join New Hampshire and the other 18 States, which have already legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes and this is why everyone should get ready for what is lying ahead of us.

Experts Predict A Great Future For The Medical Cannabis Industry

As we have been stating here at Zip 420 for the past couple of months, the marijuana industry is growing and it will create a lot of business and job opportunities worldwide.  There are plenty of experts who also agree with out opinion and some have even given out numbers as to what they predict will happen to the medical cannabis industry in months to come.

According to MMJ Business Daily, "The US medical cannabis industry, could hit an estimated $1.7 billion in sales this year and is forecast to hit $6 billion by 2018", which are certainly some huge numbers and which could change the path of any State or country today.

As said above, some companies like Neutra Corp, are already preparing for this new market and they have already signed contracts with other businesses, in order to reach more people and have more sales. It was just last month, when Neutra Corp, decided to join forces with Field of View Technologies, in order to create a smokeless solution for medical marijuana patients and if they are successful, they could surely become one of the largest cannabis related businesses in the industry.

The opportunities in this industry are nearly endless and anyone who has enough creativity, could in fact start a very successful cannabis related business, as more States are allowing people to handle this herb and commercialize it as well. Nevada Will Have A Medical Marijuana Industry

Medical Marijuana Is Being Legalized In Nevada

Thanks to Governor Brian Sandoval, who signed Senate Bill 374 and allowed the establishment of some cannabis related businesses, Nevada will now have its own medical marijuana industry and it will surely change this State for good.

Senate Bill 374, gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to establish their own cannabis dispensaries, to grow their own herb and even to create other cannabis related products or edibles. This new Bill, will also give scientists the opportunity to study the benefits of marijuana even further and these are all great benefits from the bill that Governor Sandoval signed.

Being Serious About Medical Marijuana

The new medical marijuana laws in the State of Nevada, will be taken very seriously and they are certainly well planned. According to the Nevada Business website:
"To encourage serious business-minded individuals and entities to apply for certificates to operate the MMEs, SB 374 requires thorough background checks and a sizable investments in the business venture. Each application, which will be available through the Nevada Division of Health, must be accompanied by a one-time non-refundable fee of $5,000. For those who secure certificates to operate the MMEs, the initial fees range from $30,000 for a dispensary to $3,000 for a production facility for marijuana-infused and edible products. Annual renewal fees range from $1,000 to $5,000.
Successful applicants will demonstrate control of at least $250,000 in liquid assets to cover initial operating and compliance-related expenses. Keep in mind that under federal law, marijuana is a Schedule I drug and possessing it is a felony. Therefore, traditional forms of business financing are largely unavailable. "
This is certainly a good idea and it will help to keep the medical marijuana industry in Nevada under control. Having these sorts of regulations, will also help to prove that these types of businesses can benefit society and that they are more helpful, than if kept illegal.

It is time for everyone to accept that cannabis is a medicine and that it is not wrong to smoke a joint every now and then.
