Have You Watched The "Grandmas Smoking Weed" Video?

Cannabis Is Less Dangerous Than Alcohol

At Zip 420, we are all about legalizing and regulating marijuana for both medicinal and recreational purposes worldwide and today, we want to share with you a video, which was recently recorded and published by Cut, as it shows three grandmas smoking weed for the first time and how harmless this herb really is.

In the video you can see three cute old ladies, talking about how they have never tried cannabis before, as they were too busy taking care of their children, their jobs and other things in life.  Now, they decided to collaborate with Cut and show people how cannabis is no more dangerous than alcohol or tobacco and why it needs to be regulated today.

While they do have some laughs and seem a little foolish at times, they are simply having fun and not harming anyone.  Marijuana is not dangerous as we have been told and this is why we want you all to see this video too.

***We did not have anything to do with the recording of this video and we just found a link in YouTube.  We did not upload there either, but go ahead and watch it, we are sure that you will love it too.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can watch the video of the three grandmas smoking weed and help promote the legalization of marijuana around the world.  Don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, so we can send you more interesting news about cannabis, directly to your mail.

Should You Take A Marijuana Tour In Colorado?

Is A Marijuana Tour In Colorado Really Worth It?

As you may already know, cannabis is now legal in the US State of Colorado and there are now some marijuana tours, which anyone over 21 years old can be part of and visit many cannabis dispensaries, clubs and other places involved with this herb.  The question here is, are these cannabis tours really worth your time and money or are you better off touring these places on your own?

While it may be true that traveling through a city that you barely know is sometimes hard, mobile technology has now made this very simple and there is no reason for you to get lost.  The web makes it very simple to find some of the hottest cannabis related public places in Colorado and this is why I do not believe that a marijuana tour is something that you should spend your money on.  I myself, prefer to travel and get to know places on my own, as this allows me to take my time each place and really visit the sites that I am interested in.

If you are travelling on your own, joining a cannabis tour in Colorado, may be a good idea, as you will have other people to party and smoke with, but if you are traveling with your couple or a group of friends, going to these cannabis places on your own, is a much better idea on my point of view.

You can find the information that you need on your own or simply talk to someone from Colorado, who also enjoys cannabis and you are set to go!!

Sometimes it might be a good idea to be part of a marijuana tour in Colorado, as they will eventually have access to event tickets and other places that tourists on their own will not get very easily and this is probably the only reason why I would consider being part of one of these tours in Colorado.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about whether it is a good idea to join a cannabis tour in Colorado or not.  Don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right.

Bob Marley Marijuana Brand Coming Soon!!!

Bob Marley Will Get His Own Cannabis Brand

Even after death, Bob Marley is still one of the most popular artists around the world and marijuana activists that there has been.  Now, some of Marley's family members, have decided to use his name, to promote the legal marijuana market in the United States and the world, by selling Bob Marley cannabis.

Privateer Holdings, will be launching "Marley Natural" in late 2015.  Cedella Marley, who is Bob Marley's daughter, stated:
"My dad would be so happy to see people understanding the healing power of the herb.  He viewed the herb as something spiritual that could awaken our well-being, deepen our reflection, connect us to nature and liberate our creativity.  Marley Natural is an authentic way to honor his legacy, by adding his voice to the conversation about cannabis and helping end the social harms caused by prohibition."

The new brand, will include Jamaican marijuana strains and their herbs, will not be grown with fertilizer, which is what Bob Marley preferred.

It is nice to see that Marley's name will still be a part of the modern marijuana movement and we are pretty certain that the organic cannabis and marijuana products that Marley Natural will be selling, is going to be out of this world.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about the new Bob Marley marijuana brand and so they can help promote cannabis legalization around the world.  Don't forget to subscribe to our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting news about marijuana.

Should Marijuana Users Worry About Their Job?

What Do Employers Think About Cannabis Users

Whether you are a medical or recreational marijuana user, you might be thinking about what your rights are at work and what your employer might think, if they find out that you consume cannabis.

Today, marijuana's regulation momentum is building up and believe it or not, there are still some employers who might take some actions,  against people who consume marijuana.

Although medical marijuana is now legal in 21 States of the US and recreational cannabis is legal in four, there are still some murky laws and regulations out there.  An example of this is Brandon Coats, who is a medical marijuana user and has a card from the State of Colorado, as he is a quadriplegic.

Coats used to work for Dish Network, but he was fired from his job, because his employers found out that he consumed marijuana.  While he claims that he was never under the influence of this herb at work, we still believe that the company should not have fired him, as this is a medicine that he needs and makes him feel better.  He probably performed better at work, thanks to marijuana, too!

Cases like this, should no longer be happening and this is why you should still be careful about letting your employer know about you consuming cannabis, as you never know how they might react.  I am certain that there are many employers out there, who understand the value of marijuana as a medicine and some that might even respect recreational marijuana users.

We need to regulate cannabis in a way that benefits every one and the countries and States of the US, which have already taken actions towards this, will soon let us know how beneficial it is to change marijuana prohibitionist laws.

Please remember to share and like this post, so that more people can read about what some employers think about cannabis users and to let other knows, that they still need to be careful about this.  You should also sign up for our free newsletter, so we can send you more interesting news about marijuana, directly to your inbox.

New York City Changes Its Marijuana Laws

NYC Allows Possession Of Cannabis

It was this Monday, when Mayor de Blasio and NYPD Chief Bill Bratton, decided to announce that the marijuana laws in New York City will be very different, after November 19th of this year.  According to them, after this date, people who are caught with 25 grams of cannabis or less, will only be getting a ticket and will not be arrested, like they have been doing so, for the past few decades.

This hopefully will be true, as of today, many people living in the poorest neighborhoods and colored people in NYC, are still being arrested by some cops, when they ask them to empty their pockets and find some marijuana on them.

After November 19th, this should not happen again and even the Chief of the NYPD, decided to show a Ziploc bag, which he claimed was 25 grams of oregano, in order to show people what the limited amount of marijuana in NYC will be.

This is yet another huge step towards marijuana regulation and if police departments respect these new laws, we will soon see an entirely different world.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about the things happening in New York and how cannabis will now be regulated differently here.  Don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will keep you informed about other things related to cannabis.

When Will The US Federal Government Regulate Marijuana?

Is It Time To Regulate Marijuana?

Today, almost half of the States in the US, have started working towards the regulation of cannabis in their territories and we can only ask, when will the federal government follow? Earlier this week, we wrote about some of the States that were looking to change their cannabis laws and now, we want to tell you a little more about these results.

Oregon and Alaska, decided that it is time for them to take cannabis regulation a step further and they voted in favor of allowing their citizens to consume marijuana for recreational purposes, just like it happened in Colorado and Washington State, a while ago.

DC, accepted a new proposal, for decriminalizing the possession of small amounts of marijuana and Florida, also passed a bill, where it will allow its citizens to get a medical prescription for using cannabis as medicine.

As you can see, the four States that were voting on regulating marijuana or not, all decided to change their current laws and regulate cannabis.  It is time for the US Federal Government and all countries around the world, to regulate this herb and change the prohibition views on cannabis, as these have not provided any positive results at all.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about the States of the US, which recently decided to regulate marijuana.  You can also subscribe, to our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more information about marijuana, directly to your inbox.

Tomorrow Is An Important Day For Marijuana Regulation

Voting Yes On Marijuana

November 4th, 2014, will certainly be an important date in the history of cannabis regulation, as four States in the US, are voting on whether to decriminalize this plant for medicinal or recreational purposes.

If some of the marijuana proposals in these States are accepted, the current momentum for cannabis regulation will gain more strength and it should not be long, until we see other States and countries around the world doing the same.  Many people have their eyes on these States right now and at Zip 420, we can only hope that voters make the right decision and approve the marijuana proposals that were made this year.

Here is a little more about the States that could legalize cannabis very soon and how likely it is that they do:

  1. D.C - Fully legalize marijuana - It is very likely that this will happen
  2. Oregon - Fully legalize cannabis - It is probable that this will happen
  3. Alaska - Fully legalize marijuana - 50-50 chance that this will happen
  4. Florida - Legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes - It is uncertain what will happen
If you live in one of these States and are planning to vote tomorrow, remember that cannabis is a medicine for millions of people out there and that it is just a past time for others.  Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol and tobacco, which means it should also be regulated and available to all those people who need it or decide that they want to consume it.

We want cannabis legalized and so should you!

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about why tomorrow is an important day for marijuana regulation and why we should support these proposals.  You should also remember to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right, so we can send you more interesting news about cannabis directly to your inbox.

More Mexicans Are Consuming Marijuana These Days

The Consumption Of Marijuana Is Increasing In Mexico

According to some recent studies, by juvenile centres in Mexico, the number of people who consume marijuana, is increasing all over Mexico and in at least 18 States, people prefer cannabis over tobacco.

Carmen Fernandez Caceres, who is in charge of these centres, stated that she has kept a personal and professional record, of the number of juveniles who consume cannabis and how this number has increased since 2008.  The number of people who consume marijuana in Mexico, is increasing in States located in the North and the South of the country as well, so it has nothing to do with the place that they live in.

In some Mexican States like Yucatan, which is in the South, the number of young people who consume this herb, increased in more than 25% since 2008.  The percentage of people who smoke tobacco, also decreased in this State during  these years and this proves how some people are substituting smoking one plant for another.

In the State of Veracruz, which sits along the Gulf of Mexico, the percentage of young people who consume marijuana,  also increased by 29% during 2007 to 2014 and it is very likely that this number will keep growing over the years.

The State of Morelos, had the largest growth in marijuana consumption, as the percentage reached 31%.  These are all outstanding facts and it proves how more people now prefer to consume cannabis, rather than tobacco, which can surely be more harmful for our health.

Some politicians in Mexico, are already looking to legalize and regulate marijuana for medicinal and recreational uses, so hopefully these laws will be changed soon and Mexico can join the countries that are taking the next step towards allowing people to consume cannabis.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about how more Mexicans are consuming marijuana these days.  You should also sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right, so we can send you some interesting stories and information about marijuana directly to your mail.

Consuming Cannabis Does Not Affect Your IQ

Consuming Cannabis Is Not As Dangerous As Most Still Believe

Contrary to what most of us have been told all of our lives, marijuana use is not really hazardous to our health and we are finally letting the younger generations know the truth about this magnificent herb. Recently, the University College of London, published their results on a study about how consuming marijuana can affect our IQ's and they found some very interesting things.

The study involved 2612 children, who were tested back in 1991 and 1992, when they were only about eight years old and then tested again when they turned 15. The study involved factors like cigarette use, alcohol use and heavy cannabis use, which proved not to be as dangerous to our IQ's, as we have been told in the past.

The results proved that drinking alcohol is more dangerous to our IQ's, than cannabis use is and this is why we should all stop believing what we were told a few years or decades ago.  Today, it is obvious that cannabis prohibition has not worked at all and that we have been told infinite lies about this herb.  Today we know that cannabis is medicine and we all have to fight for the legalization of marijuana, because it is simply the right thing to do!

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about this study from the University College of London and how consuming cannabis does not affect our IQ's.  You should also consider registering for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will keep you updated about other marijuana news.

This November Is An Important Month For Legal Marijuana

Voters Will Decide On Legal Marijuana This November

It will be on November 4th of this year, when voters in several states of the US, will decide whether they want legal cannabis around them or not.  Washington DC, Alaska and Oregon will decide whether to legalize this herb or not and in Florida, voters will get the chance to make cannabis legal for medicinal purposes.

The polls point towards voters wanting to legalize this herb and change the current laws once and for all.  Hopefully, next November 4th, we will see these States changing their cannabis laws and allowing people to consume this herb, which is a medicine for some and just a hobby for others.

We all need to support the legalization of marijuana in our communities, as this is the only way that we will get opponents to change their minds.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about what November 4th, will bring to the states mentioned above.  You should also sign up, for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting news about marijuana.

Can Marijuana Protect You From Ebola?

Cannabis May Be A Good Way To Fight Ebola

If you have been paying attention to the news recently, you probably already heard about the Ebola virus outbursts worldwide and how it has already reached North America.   At the moment, there are no effective vaccines or treatments against this disease and this is why, many people are concerned.

Thankfully, marijuana may hold the answer to this problem and just as it helps people with HIV and other diseases, it could help to stop Ebola once and for all.

Ebola is a virus, which kills cells in our bodies and this is why it is so dangerous.  This virus, is also  extremely dangerous, because it acts differently in every person and this means that it is harder to come up with effective vaccines and treatments.

When the Ebola virus, makes a person's body release a large number of enzymes and activates a very large number of immune cells, it  can cause death and this is why we should all be weary about this disease.

If you didn't know, cannabis contains natural antiretrovirals and it also acts as a natural anti-inflammatory, which is why it could benefit people who are suffering from Ebola.  Studies have already proven marijuana to be an effective way to regulate the immune system in people infected with HIV and because Ebola is similar to the HIV virus, consuming cannabis, may also be a good way to treat it.

Hopefully this theory proves to be right and scientists, should not have any problems, coming up with an effective vaccine and treatment against Ebola.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about marijuana being a good way to treat Ebola and don't forget to subscribe to our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right, so we can send you some interesting facts about cannabis, directly to your inbox.

Italian Army Will Grow Marijuana

Italy Looks To Grow Cheaper Marijuana

If you did had not heard, Italy legalized marijuana for medicinal purposes last year and although this is great news for us all, they were having problems with the costs of growing this herb, which is why they are now looking for a solution and their government has decided that the army is the best organization to solve this.

In 2015, a military base in Florence, will start growing cannabis for medicinal use in Italy and their government is pretty certain that this solution, will allow them to provide high quality medical marijuana to all patients, at a very affordable price.

According to some studies, the new Italian Army cannabis grow, will allow the government to lower medical marijuana prices for patients, as they are currently paying very high prices for their medicine and this is not right.  Some patients, have had to pay up to ten times more, for marijuana imported from Holland and this is one of the main reasons, the Italian government is looking for new ways to grow their own weed and benefit everyone.

Some authorities in this country, are now also thinking of giving away medical cannabis for free, in order to stop organized crime from selling this herb and thus lowering their impact on society.  Although many are in favor of these new laws, there are some people who are not very happy about them and this is due to Italy's Catholic background and cultural ideas.

Hopefully, these people soon realize that marijuana is a real medicine for some patients and that legalizing or regulating this herb, is the only way to end some problems with organized crime worldwide.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read that Italy's army might soon start producing medical marijuana.  Also, don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you more interesting stories about cannabis.

We just met Addey a few weeks ago and we are glad that we were able to get in touch with her.  At Zip 420, we believe that young artists like her, are of big help to the cannabis reform around the world and to all our cultures as well.  Without art, humanity would certainly be very different, than the world that we know today.

Try Some Cannabis Chocolate

Eating Cannabis Chocolate Is Delicious And Fun

Just as we talked about cannabis pizza a few days ago, today we want to tell you about a new cannabis chocolate product available in medical marijuana dispensaries in South California.  Yes you read right, now you can satisfy that sugar craving of yours, while getting stoned at the same time.
What else could anyone ask for!!!

Kiva, is the name of the company that decided to start producing this marijuana chocolate bar and many believe it is a great idea.  Some people have claimed that this cannabis chocolate bar, is perfect for those marijuana patients, who know a lot about high quality food and who are looking for something sweet and tasty.

This marijuana chocolate bar, includes 15mg of THC per serving or 60mg in the entire bar. It does not matter how much you want to eat, you should be careful at first, because lots of patients are saying these bars are potent.

Thanks to new laws and people who support the legalization of cannabis, this is now a reality and soon we will see more cannabis products out there.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about this marijuana chocolate bar.  Also, don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you some interesting information about marijuana, directly to your inbox.

Fighting For Marijuana Freedom & Fairness

A News Anchor Favors The Legalization Of Marijuana

It was yesterday night, when Charlo Greene, a news anchor at KTVA, quitted her job live and said that she is doing it, to support the legalization of marijuana in Alaska.

This was certainly a surprise to many of the people watching the news last night and here at Zip 420, we congratulate Charlo, for quitting her job and doing something that she loves.

Her segment, was about the upcoming vote on legalizing cannabis in Alaska, but I am pretty sure that nobody expected her to say what she did.  While quitting on live TV, might also have a little to do with promoting her own cannabis related business, we at Zip 420, still want to congratulate her.

We think that anybody who is willing to quit a job that they are not comfortable with and is ready to do something they love, should be respected; and if they are doing it for working towards the legalization of cannabis, then at Zip 420, we support them even more!!!

Greene's exact words were, "I, the actual owner of The Alaskan Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska. And as for this job, not that I have a choice, but fuck it, I quit!!"  Then she disappears from the scene.

You can watch the video clip below.  (We have no idea who uploaded this to YouTube or who the user is.  We just want to share this video with our reader)

The Most Popular Cannabis Strains Of 2014

Some Interesting Cannabis Strains

As marijuana culture keeps expanding and more countries keep decriminalizing the use of cannabis, there are also many new strains being developed around the world and some have become very popular. While some people believe that there is not much difference between marijuana strains, the fact is that there is and it can be very noticeable sometimes. It all depens how these plants are grown, how you take care of them, how you harvest your buds and how you cure them.

So here are some of the cannabis starins, which have become very popular during 2014 and if you have not tried them yet, you should try to get your hands on some of them.

Cannabis Strains That You Need To Try

Banana Kush - Indica

This marijuana strain, has genetics from the most famous OG Kush and the relatively new Banana strain.  This combination, has created a very potent strain, which can reach up to 18% to 20% THC content.  According to many cannabis smokers, this strain is one of the finest tasting strains in California right now and it can also be found in many cannabis dispensaries around the State.

Jack The Ripper - Hybrid

This is also a very potent cannabis strain and it is becoming very popular, because of its distinct smell, its texture and how it feels on your fingers, when you are rolling a fat blunt.  This hybrid marijuana strain, can also be found in many dispensaries around California and it is now making its way across the world too.

Ace of Spades - Hybrid

This hybrid cannabis strain, made our list, because it is said that many famous celebrities are choosing it and because almost everyone who tastes it, seems to like it.  Many California cannabis dispensaries are also selling this hybrid strain and it can be found in Colorado and Washington too.

So if you have not tasted any of these marijuana strains, try to find some nice buds and give them a try.  I am sure that you will not be dissapointed! Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people can read about these popular cannabis strains in 2014 and give them a try too.  If you want more news about marijuana, don't forget to sign up for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right.

Marijuana Laws Will Change In Philadelphia Soon

Philadelphia Is Looking To Change Its Marijuana Laws

According to a recent announcement, it is very likely that people who get caught with small aounts of cannais or smoking tis herb in public places of Philadelphia, will no longer have to face tough laws, as decriminalization of marijuana is soon to happen here.

The City Council of Philadelphia, just announced that they will decriminalize cannabis and it is all thanks to Mayor Michael A. Nutter changing his mind about this herb.  It was this week, when the Mayor of Philadelphia, spoke about supporting the decriminalization of marijuana and how it is unfair for black men to be arrested due to this herb.

If these new laws are approved, they will take effect on October 20 and people who are caught with less than 30 grams of marijuana, will only have to pay a $25 fine and if someone is caught consuming this herb in public, they will have to pay $100 in fines or have to do up to nine hours of community service.

This means that people who are caught in the above situations, will no longer have to spend time at police stations or being prosecuted with a criminal record.  This is great news, because people who use cannabis for either medicinal or recreational purposes in Philadelphia, will no longer be affected in their personal lives, jobs or schools.

The decriminalization and legalization of marijuana is now a reality and thanks to people like Mayor A. Nutter, who are changing their views about this herb and acknowledging that it is in fact better off legalized than being kept prohibited, we will soon see cannabis legalized worldwide.

Please remember to share and like this blog post, so that more people can read about what is going on in Philadelphia right now and how marijuana will soon be decriminalized there too.

Two New Zealand Political Parties Support Medical Cannabis Use

More Medical Marijuana Supporters

Some of you may be aware of the Internet and Mana Political Parties in New Zealand, but if you are not, you should know that these are separate groups, which have now joined forces for the next elections in this country.  Today we want to talk a little more about them, because they recently made public that they are in favor of people using cannabis for medicinal purposes and that the current laws are unfair and need to be changed soon.

Some of the people in these political parties, said they want to "focus more on helping people, than penalizing them", which at Zip 420, we think is a great idea, as people who use cannabis as medicine should not be thrown in to jail and those who need it, should be able to grow their own or have a secured place to get their medicine at.

Hore Harawira, who is one of the leaders and has changed his position on marijuana, (just like millions have around the world), said "we cannot shy away from the task given the number of arrests, convictions and jail time for cannabis use - with ongoing discrimination resulting in Maori making up nearly 50 per cent of convictions."  This means that they are now realizing how the current laws and prohibition settings have not worked and how they have utterly failed around the world.

Laila Harre, who is one of the Internet Party leaders, said "our party members, have strongly supported immediate decriminalization and want us to develop a model for the legalization and proper regulation of cannabis.  She also said that they support people growing marijuana for their own personal use and that possession should be decriminalized.

Hopefully these parties do get more support for the New Zealand elections and they are able to take some of their plans into effect.  At Zip 420 we fully support them and we believe that this is the path to changing the world's mind about cannabis.

Please remember to share and like this article, so that more people can read about these political parties supporting medical cannabis in New Zealand and to help promote the legalization of marijuana worldwide.  You can also sign up, for our free newsletter, by leaving us your email in the box to the right and we will send you some interesting news about marijuana.

All You Need To Know About Weed Plant Stages

Everything About Weed Plant Stages!!

It does not matter where marijuana is grown, it will still need to go through several stages, in order to produce some high quality buds.  As you probably already know, marijuana can be grown outdoors or indoors, which is why, some people may have some problems identifying some of the different weed plant stages.

In this blog post, we will tell you a little more about these marijuana plant stages and how you can identify them.  If you are lucky enough to live in a place were people are allowed to grow their own cannabis, this information will surely help you to become a more experienced grower.

The Different Weed Plant Stages

  1. Germination Stage - This is the beginning of it all and it is when you create the perfection environment, for a cannabis seed to grow.  There are different ways of germinating marijuana seeds, but one that has worked perfectly for many is, to place the seeds in a wet napkin and then place that napkin in a plastic bag or sealed container for a couple of days.  The seeds will start germinating after some time and you will only need to switch them to a pot with soil or other growing medium that you might be using.
  2. Vegetative Stage - After placing your germinated marijuana seeds in a pot, you will soon start seeing the small plant popping out and two small leaves will start to form.  From here on, your plant will be in the vegetative stage and it can remain there for as long as the climate allows it or as long as you want it too.  During this stage of the weed plant stages, your cannabis plant will require light and water, in order to grow and mature.  You can manipulate the time your plant spends in vegetative stage, in an indoor grow and this can change its size, its yield and much more.  When growing outside, you will have to stick to the seasons of the year, in order for your plant to get the most sun light during the vegetative stage and so it can grow as it is supposed to.  When growing indoors, there are plenty of theories and strategies for manipulating your plant and making the most of out it, but this will require another article.
  3. Flowering Stage - After several weeks of being in a vegetative stage, your plant will go into the flowering stage, which is almost the last one and one of the most interesting for most cannabis lovers.  During this stage of the weed plant stages, the marijuana plant will begin to flower and you will see some distinct changes.  This is when you can see if your plant is a male or a female and decide whether you want to keep all of them and have seeds or cut off the males and have only perfect marijuana buds.  If growing indoors, your plants will need to go in to a 12-12 hour light period and you will know when they are ready to harvest, when its thricomes say so.  These are the tiny white dots that you will see on your plant and if you use a magnifying glass, you will know exactly when to harvest your marijuana plants.
  4. Harvesting & Curing Stage - After waiting for those thricomes to turn as amber as possible, you will have about five to seven days to harvest your cannabis buds, if you want full potency and the best stony effect.  Remember that a magnifying glass is really helpful for identifying the color in the thricomes and when at least 1/2 of them turn an amber color.  You should also have stopped using nutrients, if using any at all and have been watering with only water for a few days now.  This will give your cannabis bud a better taste in the end.  After harvesting, you should try to trim those marijuana plants right away, as this will allow the air to get into those buds and really cure properly.  You should try to trim all of the leaves and leaves tips that are close to your buds and put all of them in a dark room to dry.  They can be hung from a string and then placed in a glass jar, so they can cure for a few days more.  Remember that patience is the best way to get high quality buds!!!
